"Increase the security of Windows by closing and deactivating its most unsafe points."
Seconfig XP can configure Windows to not use the TCP/IP as its transfer protocol for NetBIOS, SMB and RPC, leaving the TCP/UDP 135, 137-139 and 445 ports closed (the weakest and most exploited points in Windows). Seconfig XP works exclusively with the Windows Registry, which means it installs no type of file, driver or anything else on your hard drive.
Also, with Seconfig XP you can configure other hidden security adjustments relating to the TCP/IP protocol in Windows, and also deactivate some little used services which are quite unsafe. Seconfig XP makes a backup of the system each time a configuration is changed, so that you can always return to the previous state.
